Hi there!
I’m Sydney Allen — but you’ve probably already guessed that!
I’m a Texas State University Alum with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and a minor in Pop Culture Studies. I aspire to land a position in a creative career that allows me to express my passion for the art.
But… who am I, really?
Ever since I was little, I’ve been drawn to creativity. Whether it was finding the perfect crayon for my coloring book, building furniture and sewing accessories for my Barbies (yes, I’ve got the pictures), or redecorating my room for the hundredth time, I was always chasing a new idea.
Growing up as a dancer for 16 years, I thought that would be my only creative outlet to follow into my future. But in high school, I was introduced to graphic and media design, and it was love at first click. (My parents probably saw this coming when I asked for The Logo Board Game for Christmas at age 10.)
When I’m not fiddling around in Photoshop, you’ll probably find me hanging out with friends and family, as quality time is something I truly value. I also love being outside and soaking up the Texas sun, experimenting in the kitchen while pretending I’m on Chopped, and chasing my cat Gus when he inevitably steals something (again).
I’m incredibly grateful for the experiences I’ve had at Texas State — especially serving as Art Director for the 2025 NSAC team — and for the mentorship of so many talented professionals along the way. I’m excited to contribute to and grow within the creative industry, and I can’t wait to see where this passion takes me next!
